Our Process
As in maritime operations, it’s often best to remain fluid.
Our insurance brokerage responds to the needs of our clients first and foremost.
First, we learn about your specific operation and exposures that are on your mind. From here, our brokers take a deep dive into the current coverages.
Consultation includes discussing exposures we see from the viewpoint of insurance professionals. We provide a thoroughly marketed and competitive risk plan with suggestions on how to navigate these exposures and address concerns.
As your business changes or specific exposure concerns arise, we remain close to answer questions and help you adapt.
Meet Darrick Huddleston
Darrick leads our Energy and Marine insurance team, with 15 years of experience operating and maintaining deep water oil rigs and deep sea vessels.
After graduating from Cal Maritime his first offshore project was on Seadrill’s West Sirius, their first semi-submersible rig in the Gulf of Mexico.
He met his wife, Jessica, while both of them were working with Transocean in South Korea commissioning new-build 7th generation offshore drilling vessels.
Darrick holds a Chief Engineer Unlimited USCG Merchant Mariners Credential and has specialization in subsea blowout prevention and well control.
